Gear, level, inventories, quest progression. Whoever hosted can load up and play that save solo, but the other player's character will be a companion until that player joins again. You make your characters together from the very start of the game, and those characters cannot leave that save. ![]() So you'd generally know everyone you're playing with from the start and progress only together. It plays like a tabletop RPG like D&D for instance. is the multiplayer only good for people that already know what they are doing and don't mind doing so with a character they essentially can't keep when joining up with a friend? No. This game sounds like it is not like that. but our own characters progress and save locally and we can resume our own game where we left off-with new loot and level progression. if we find someone random on the internet, we proceedd with that quest. Like say borderlands, where if I host, we proceed in my quest. I think I assumed it would allow level progression across saves like if I was in his game or he in mine. ![]() ![]() Originally posted by SeriousCCIE:so uh hey I own this, havent played it yet, was considering getting it for a friend so we can play it from the start.
